Default Bank fishing near Lauberge

I will be in lake Charles for a wedding in April. I was wondering if anyone could help me out on where to pick up some reds off the bank near the casino. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The only place I have ever bank fished in that area is at the old 210 beach boat launch under the 210 bridge ( not the new prien lake launch , the other one) . There is also a nice bank on the north side of the parking garage of Laberge that runs along the channel, you could try along this bank as long as the casino peeps don't mind. Not sure if they would allow it or not, but it's probably worth a try. Also one night last summer I was at the casino and stepped out side by the boat slips and the reds were thrashing and chasing bait under the lights like crazy, this might be an option too. You could try that same bank mentioned above at night, this might be worth a try too . Try and bring a cast net and catch some live bait, you will probably have better luck or some Fresh shrimp, you should at least catch something, might not be a red but should catch some croaker and sheep head. Good luck!
