its just about the $$$$$

you can buy a $85,000 bass boat signed by some guy you see on tv or buy a $10,000 Cajun special and do more fishing and catch more fish from it because your not waxing and buffing that bass boat you put such a huge investment into that you don't want to get it dirty.

there is very little that seperates the cheaper low end boats from the top end pricey ones and quality has little to do with it, its usually just some fancy electronics you can buy and install yourself

for a while they tried to make every truck cost $50,000 but they weren't selling so they dropped the price to around $35,000 which is still too high but they found enough people willing to pay that so it stays high and they are always going to rip you off for as much money as some idiot is willing to pay.

supply and demand breaks down in controlling costs when people keep buying overpriced stuff just because they "gotta have it"
