To brake down water a solvent is needed. To keep fule from separating from water or stratagem anation of fuel a solvent is needed.

Fiberglass don't do no good wit solvents it brakes down and turns to moosh after time.

yea i didnt see anywhere in your original post about it being fiberglass. just assumed it would be plastic or metal like most gas tanks
