After rescheduling twice due to high winds Stan Johnson, sons Larry and Craig, along with good buddy Harry finally jumped on board the Blue Wave. I thought we would have a few hours before the winds would pick up but that wasn't the case. We had a hard west wind blowing right off the bat. Still no birds diving so it was all reefs, points, and coves. We had a slow start going with 12 trout and a red in the box before the teamwork really kicked in. Capt. Marty was on a solid bite so he gave me a call. We headed his way and was able to put another 20 or so before the bite slowed. Off to a protected point where we found the big reds stacked up. It worked out great because everyone had their turn battling a beast. Following our redfish bonanza we were off to find more trout. We continued to pick and over the course of the day we put together a nice box. Most of our trout were caught tight lining a Tiger Bait Matrix. The reds fell for a Shrimp Creole under a cork.
