Cheers Relax Mode Fishing 4-30-14

Jack Whitehead and his good friend Richard joined me on the big Bluewave. After a great night of sleep at the lodge we departed at day break. Jack's goal was to de stress and have a relaxing trip, and that we did. We started the morning off trout fishing and finished the day off catching reds and puppy drum. Not much to report on the trout as we just picked away at a few. Clean water everywhere but the trout are still in lock jaw mode. A fun relaxing day for the guys so the mission was accomplished. Shrimp Creole Matrix Shad under a cork and Green Hornet & Tiger Matrix tight lined did the trick for the few trout and bait shrimp under a cork for the reds and drum. Thanks guys for a great day.

Caught under a cork. I typically tie my braid direct to my jig head on a daily basis, while using Power Pro Slick 8 (30#)
