The winds and fronts are easing up. This is giving us better fishing conditions and better catches. Here are some of the catches.
My last inshore trip was for Capt. Shawn of Fish On Guide Service. I took 3 and he took the other 3 guys. We started out looking for reds but found some trout. This was the first.
Although we wanted reds we did not want to leave fish to find some. We took advantage of the bite until it stopped. We did find some reds on the point behind our boat while bringing in specks in front of us in the picture below.
We got a bunch of good ones and I had the trophy. This was still in nursery school. My prize catch.
The bite slowed about noon so we started our redfish hunt again. We did not limit out but we found a few rats and some good ones including this double.
Although we did not limit out on anything we ended up with a decent amount of fish for the day.
Life is Good!
Fishing is not a matter of life or death. It's more important than that.
