FlagUS Sunday Slam

Another good day on the DU! Our first stop on Sunday was as fast as we could stand it. Reds & trout at the same location and big fun for my crew. The fish were eating up our bunker swim baits and LSU chubs on almost every cast. Rick from Alaska caught his first two reds ever and savored the moment! The west wind came up pretty quick and shut the bite down but not before filling up the box. Fishing the inside waters right now you better get on the water for daybreak as it’s a quick early morning bite with not many trout being caught after 9:30. We fished until noon catching a few everywhere we stopped but no numbers. The reefs became dirty fast with the west wind and we did what we could. We need to get offshore as that’s where the numbers are and its just a matter of time before that happens. Good luck fishing.
