Kiwigrip has some good reviews. You put it on with a roller and control the height by varying how much you put on.

well it is incredibly expensive and if you look closer at all of the reviews you will find the reviews that really matter like these two:

Comments about KiwiGrip Non-Skid Deck Coating:
I like the non skid properties. Better than those that contain sand or silica.
Major problem is it stains really easily and is a bear to clean. Even with aggressive brushing with a stiff brush.....it's tough.
Gasoline will soften this stuff and then it peels off.
Price is over the top expensive IMO.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have had this product on my fishing boat for about a year. I will never use it again. It is easy to apply and looks great in the beginning but it is not a long tern useful product. Product deterioates with gas so be very care putting gas in your boat. Product wares out very easily and when it does its like there are little air holes in the deck that will hold any kind of dirt and stains. I wish I never applied this product to my decks. My decks look worse now than before I applied this product.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

the deal breaker for me was the comments that it dissolves with spilled gas and peels off after. a little spilled gas is fairly common on most boats and any product made for boats should be fuel safe but KiwiGrip isnt.

before using KiwiGrip it would be cheaper to get a bed liner sprayed in your boat and that would be impervious to gasoline
