If you can make it to marsh island you can tear up the reds....I usually fish oyster lake,its down the bird island bayou canal past the last big weir. This time of the year you can go in there and catch all the reds and flounder you want.

The bay has to be slick like a baby's behind for me to be able to make it to marsh island. I just have a 16' alumicraft, it doesn't take chop very well.

Nahhhh I would lose my teeth in the Delcambre Canal today lol. That wind ain't playing around...

Still can't believe we stayed out there yesterday after the wind tried to blow us off the water. Fish junkies we are!
