Cheers Calm Winds = Trout Slaughter 5-16-14

I had three boats running today with my good customers from Gaiennie Lumber Co. Calm winds = trout slaughter!!! Today was the day we have all been waiting on. Calm winds, calm seas, clean water, and hungry trout. Our first couple stops had us picking away, but our last stop struck silver. After pulling up and catching a few trout, the Power Pole was dropped. The trout slaughter began as everyone in the boat had the silver head shakers coming in 360 degrees around the big Bluewave. The K2 quickly filled up and I had to throw out some ice so I could close the lid!!! LOL. Double rigged Matrix Shad did all the damage today, no live bait needed. Good as it gets... we also added a couple reds to the mix. Our three boats ended up with 342 trout and 5 reds. Happy customers as always, looking forward to their return in a couple weeks. Thanks Scotty Muller for putting all the trips together.

Big thanks to Capt Miller and Capt Venable for putting their crews on a full box of fish and showing them a great time.
