While the pit came up to temp I watched the asparagus ferns slowly go from silver to green as the dew dried.

Well with the best of intentions a friend showed up, we went on a beer run, and put some sausage and corn ears on the pit to keep the brisket company. In the excitement I forgot my camera. the brisket is still cooking and we sampled the burnt end and it was amazing the smoke ring is like an 1/8 inch so still needs to go some more. BBL with picks and report.

Asorted veggies and stuff goined the brisket along with sausage etc. It mostly got ate up while I forgot the camera. IMG_3005.jpg sTILL SMOKING WHILE I START TO BUZZIN'[
