Its not bad making a day trip.
Last year we would leave Lafayette at 2:30 a.m. and be on the water at 6:00. Fish until 1-2 then be back home by 6:00. Clean and save the boat the next morning. its not ideal but its what a weekend warrior has to do sometimes.
