Default Rollover and Joseph's Harbor

Heard yesterday that the weir at Rollover is shut down for repairs, possibly for the whole season? Correct? Also, anyone catching shrimp yet at the weirs out of Joseph's Harbor? I was there two weeks ago and while the crabbing was good, there were no shrimp. Any info would be helpful as i'm thinking of making a trip next week. Thanks

Thanks for starting this thread. I'm hoping to take my nephew crabbing at Joseph Harbor this coming week and was wondering if the crabbing was still good.

thanks. I'm guessing that even tho the season is opening tomorrow, the shrimp are still delayed due to the cold winter/spring we had. still trying to decide.

I guess but I am no expert. Crabbing has been great everywhere in that area.

It's a shame the shrimps don't read the paper so they'll know the season is open.
