Default Pond Redfish

The last two days we have been dealing inconsistent weather. Scattered showers and wind can put a kink in the game plan. Luckily we don't just chase trout in Dularge. We decided to duck into the duck ponds and chase the reds. The ponds are crystal clear with a lot of grass which makes for a perfect redfish ambush. The best technique was to run our Tiger Bait Matrix Shad on a spinner just above the grass and hang on. The reds would come out of the grass and smash our Matrix like we were fishing topwater baits. Definitely gets your blood pumping even if the red isn't on the end of your line. Both days the rain shut us down early but not before plenty of reds hit the K2. Big thanks for Capt. Rob Dupont and Aaron Julian for helping me out with the large crew.
