Default 6-6-14 trout on

Took the day off work and decided to make a Long boat ride from berwick to block 27. It was worth it. Limit of trout by 9:30 all on either vudu shrimp or matrix shad. Probably caught over 50 trout with the throw backs. Slick calm seas and hot trout bite. Nice trip, and a quick one at that.

Looks like a beautiful morning.

Nice trip. Beautiful out there. I've been going to Leeville the last few years and had forgotten how good the fishing is right here near home.

yea you either burn gas in the truck or in the boat. Its just nice at the end of a trip to only be 5 mins from home when you get back to the landing instead of a hour plus drive.

How long of a boat ride is it. I have been wanting to head out of the river to hit those rigs instead of Jugs. I just worried about crossing four league bay.
