IMO, there are plenty enough bulls out there for people to keep them if they want. There are probably more people that catch and release them than catch and keep them.

We consider a bull anything over the slot (27+").

Most of the bulls we catch at the jetties and from the beach are 36-42" long, with the best specimens being closer to 45".

I got a great recipe for a red that big, put it on a hardwood plank smoke it for 3 hrs take it out the smoker throw the fish away and eat the hardwood plank.

Once again, appreciate the trip MG. Killed 'em once again! Still wish I could've kept some, but kinda hard when you're hotel hopping. Hopefully, I'll get the same work sites next year. My buddy that hires me is planning a trip down there soon, based on my pictures alone.
