You cant pick a favorite but how about favorites?
3 choices in each category with one alternate.
Cool weather.
Squirrel/Rabbit and dumplings.
Homemade soup
Gumbo

Warm weather.
Good ole bbq chicken
Fried fish
Salad

Alternate. No matter the weather its great.
Red Beans and Rice with Sausage and corn bread.

Its hard to beat a meal cooked over an open fire. When the weather is cool enough that the fire feels good its a great way to spend the day. Cold beer, warm fire, and a big iron pot bubbling with good stuff.

Cabbage rolls
Boiled Supper, salt cured pork w/ cabbage, potatoes, carrots, onions, and bell peppers all boiled together.
Anything cooked on the open fire grill at the camp in Tensas..

Hot:
Boiled crabs
Fried fresh bream(whole)
Grilled snapper, ling, or grouper..

Anytime:
Anything cooked by my mom..
Especially pot roasted ducks w/ green bean casserole and candied yams!! Can't beat moms cooking!!

Thought i would throw that in for very hot summer days!
