I will boga a red bc I hate reds and don't really care if I lose him or not. I'm gonna let him go anyway. I just fish with tops or suspending baits so I don't feel like fighting the trebles out the net for a red. A trout over 4, I will net. Anything else just flip it in.
When I'm wading I just carry a boga. Net gets in the way and I have seen many times someone go to net one and the trebles get caught in net before they get fish in and it comes off.
