Update on Sgt Ricky Benoit

As you all know, Ricky was shot in the neck and required surgery to repair damage. Since the suregery, he has been unable to move his left arm and right leg, although the spinal cord was not severed.

Thanks to some skilled care, lots of hard work, and many prayers - at 0400 hrs this morning Ricky woke up and was able to move his left hand!

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that we are still seeing miracles in this incident!

Scar tissue and inflammation can eventually resolve and the impingement it causes can lessen overtime resulting in a regain of motor function. With time he may keep progressing. Great to hear!
