I use it as a locator, basically. Bomb it out there and pull it back in fast. If no bites, reel it back a bit slower. Between the wobbling wounded bait fish action, those hammered facets reflecting light (think disco ball) and the two split rings rattling around, you'll likely get a reaction strike. It's heavy and sinks like a rock so sometimes I'll run it stop and go, it flutters on its way down.
