Help Again...

Can anyone tell me if there is someone in the Lafayette, Abbeville area who checks out VHF radios..

I'm not receiving anything.. I changed out my shakespear loaded 3 ' antenna about 6-7 months ago.
With a cheap knock off. Worked awhile and now nothing..

Does anybody close to Abb. have a spare antenna for me to borrow and try.. No need to mount it ..I'll just unscrew my coaxal cable from y unit and screw in the good t osee if Im putting out receiving .. Im not even receiving weather channels.

Any help will be appreciated.
