We fished for 4 hours and only caught a gaftop. We have fished in big lake for over 15 years and decided to start fishing around the point since its so much closer to home(gas is expensive). Guy told me there is a reef named Caldwell that has been producing fish on every cast. We are going tomorrow and everyday next week if you want to follow us. I have a 16' Carolina Skiff with a red t-top. We will have seven other boats, mostly Boston Whalers, so if you see us, say hello. Hear there are shrimp in the area too, so another buddy is going to be trawling nearby while we fish.

Is the reef named after you or any of your family?

Yall just circle the reef. Just make sure you chunk anchors at the same time. Oh yeah and slap full of 80# power pro.
