If you take a large bream cork and put a piece of shrimp big enough just to cover the hook point fish about 3' deep around any rocks.
If you use a whole shrimp they will pick it to death. I catch them when sight fishing reds sometimes. With a very small hook and just a piece of a gulp shrimp big enough to cover hook doesn't need to look like anything. They eat lots of small things and small baits appeal to them better. |
