Any info like the names of bays, reefs, or coordinates of them would be helpful. We don't go there often at all. We'll usually go once during the heat of the summer and thats it. V. Bay is where we usually go that week, but its not looking good...
This is where I'd start fishing in Barataria Bay if Lake P wasn't so hot. At this time of year, the trout are moving into the marsh and north towards Lafitte. All of these spots are less than 20 minutes by boat from Grand Isle, and they have good shell bottoms or oyster reefs.
