A few pics from this mornings hunt! Got his first mallard with teal also dropped a big pintail but was not able to recover it cause fell In thick cover. What did he do...catch that mallard off the ground. That thing looks alive in the first picture. Definitely looked dead in the last pic.

Yeah he was alive but died shortly after. Gonna get it mounted for him

those White Lake youth hunts are special. If any of you have young hunters and HAVE NOT entered them in the WLCA youth hunts, you are missing a great adventure.

Yeah u right!! This was our first year but will make sure and try again next year!! They also have adult lottery hunts there too, think it cost like $375 for 2 people if u get picked but that place is LOADED with ducks!!!

He also got picked for another youth lottery hunt at sherburne south farm on dec. 28 for a deer hunt. Looking forward to that hunt also, heard pretty much every kid gets a deer!
