Keep your eyes open. That is exactly what I hear is coming to the west side. Wouldn't it be nice to swipe your credit card in a pump 24/7 to get gas on the water? How about pulling in at lunch and ordering a meal. Have a good place to park a boat while you enjoy a beer with friends... I can't wait.

We go for lunch at a few different places in texas when I go visit my dad. Went to one place I think in freeport or near freeport that was a hit. Fuel, live bait, tackle, loaded convinience store, restaurant/bar that hosts live music, fish cleaning areas. Its great scenery even if you aren't fishing. Sitting outside enjoying the view with a cold drink and food watching boats roll in with their catches...nothing wrong with that.

I grew up Fishing in Bolivar. Stingaree Marina has always been a great place just as you mentioned.

The bay used to have that and now that its gone that place is not the same for me. Can't beat grabbing a cold beer and burger and heading back on the water like that.
