He'd fire up the generator just b4 dark and we'd sit around eat a lil supper and drink a few beers and wait for the fish to show up.
Allways caught all the trout we wanted under the lights .
It's very scarey what you will see in 3 foot a wadda at night.
Not only the sand sharks and black tips that are allways there but we have seen a few BIG Bull sharks lurking around the edges of the light.
Jacks and bull reds , small cobia and lots of spanish macs all were caught under these lights.
Night time is the one time that each fish i caught was brought back to shore. No stringers or dough nets for the sharks to get interested in.

Wow that does sound like a good time; might have to try it @ my buddies place in Little Florida.

Yes you are correct they do have alot of sharks there @ times. I had my stringer nailed this year.

Last year Sulphite and I were fishing off the beach and we thought we saw a bunch of redfish schooling; alot of big tails coming out the water.
We then realize the tails didnt have spots, sharks everywhere. I'm talking thick like a school of mullet; I was glad to be fishing out of the Sea Ark that day and not wading. BTW the water was mirky that day with lots of people wading, it was kinda spooky.
