Great job man i am a Mono filament guy myself but just keep practicing start with it tighter like they said and just loosen as you get the hang of it. just keep a slight feel on your spool with your thumb dont even touch the handle to real until it has hit. your spool will slow that when you know to start thumbing down. Good luck man.

Please tell me what was your FIRST bait cast reel? Did it come with a 1 yr no question asked return? Please enlighten me with the wisdom that this policy or reel is "POO" I mean really? I bought the best "Bass Pro" has WITH a YEAR to return it, how could I go wrong?
