Also, if ya'll are staying in Venice the night of the trip, which I recommend because that is too long of a day on the water to get in a vehicle and drive home, bring some supplies to eat some of the catch.

We usually bring supplies to make sushi and to pan fry some of the fish.

Seasonings, olive oil, wasabi, soy sauce...

I'm not sure if it's because you work up such an appetite from fishing all day or because the meat is so fresh. But, the best fish I have ever eaten is when we eat them the night they are caught.
