Hairout new computer\ pop ups

I just bought a new computer and every website I open up. there's 3 different pop ups advertisements that are on the bottom of the page. what can I do to get rid of these darn things also the top right has a little page fold down that says "powered by strong signal". I have McAfee installed on the computer as well. Please help! this is ridiculous

Alpha, you might want to install some kind of spyware program like Adaware or Malwarebytes. If this is a brand new computer and you started getting these pop-ups right away that is really odd. I am thinking you must have not started getting these right away but a short time after you started using it.

We use adblock plus to keep that nonsense at bay.

SpyBot Search and Destroy
MalwareBytes
are your 2 best friends.

What brand computer did you buy? It might be some bloatware that came with it if you started getting these popups right from the start.

one of the sites that's was suggested basically said to uninstall the power by strong signal and that was it.

it also helps to set your popup blocker to "high" so it blocks "all" popups not just the bad ones
