Default What are your favorite tires?

I bought some Cooper Discover AT3 about two months ago and I've been happy so far

This is probably close to what you want if you stick with an all terrain. Less agressive tread designs don't do as well off road.

You need an agressive tread design to do well off road and a chemical compound to have the right mechanical properties to grip the road well and reduce highway noise.

Look at the tread gaps of the tires you consider. If the gaps are smaller than these, move along as off road performance will suffer.

I run goodyear wrangler M+S silent armor on my 4x4...No road noise and pull great...Too aggressive a tire and you'll dig a hole and bog yourself in...
