most chargers are water proof so unless its a cheap one it should be fine but I would take apart and clean and spray all electrical connections with wd40 then reconnect using dielectric grease to stop and corrosion from starting.
the trolling motor im sure just tripped the breaker and it just needs to be reset, most are manual reset button type everyone has a "blonde" moment sometimes lol
