I have been through in my frontier 180. It has an 8' beam. No problems going in. The current wasn't bad. Coming out I forgot my poles in my rod holders. I just grabbed them and bent them back but i bumped the wall when i let go of the steering. Didn't even put a scratch on that stainless rub rail. Also watch your trolling motor head if it sticks out. One of my coworkers said he ripped the head off of his when he was guiding. Said he spent the rest of the day steering it with pliers. The main thing is if it goes bad let it go. You can repair a boat easier and cheaper than reattaching fingers.
