historical info - Winter Quarters

My great-grandfather hunted the Winter Quarters hunting club many years ago, and I was interested in information about the club. I believe it was in Eastern LA. I love the old hunting/fishing pictures and was curious if anyone knew anything about the history of the club or where to look.
