What more could you ask for? Great customers, great weather and great catches for our guests, the first 7 days of June will go down in the books as some of the best fishing of the year. Many limits of speckled trout came to the cleaning table every day. For the entire week all of our guides fished over reefs and working birds but the best action was down on the beach. North winds kept the surf pretty flat and the green water found the rock groins. Live Shrimp as well as soft plastics were the offer of the day. Rigged on light lead heads black/chartreuse Hackberry Hustlers as well as H&H’s Cacahoe grubs under a popping cork wouldn’t be ignored. Captain Trey Daugereaux and his party smacked 6 really nice Tripletail just outside the jetties as well as a limit of trout last Saturday. The attached pictures spell out a super week on the lake with some great guests. Call toll free at 888.762.3391 and check availability to get in on a day of fun here at the lodge
