30# most of the time to 15-20# fluoro/mono leaders.

Depending on which knot you tie to join the lines going to 40 or 50 # braid can make it a little large with a less fluid feel passing through the guides.

Plus I find I get a tad bit more casting distance out of 30/40 than say 50 without the dig in of 20. With a well set drag I find 30 to be a good compromise. Also I somtimes feel depending on the lure and water depth the 30 may allow for a better presentation than larger lines.

If you happen to get a second combo I would recommend 30 for the Trout and 40 for the Reds.

Also don't forget to apply tape or a short peice of mono or fluoro to your arbor prior to winding your power pro on while filling the reel to prevent line slippage on the arbor while setting the hook or cranking in a hog.
