I've never fished these tournaments before but it sounds like a lot of fun.

What is the purpose of only allowing 1 trout over 25" to be weighed? It seems like if the purpose of the tournament is to catch heaviest 3 trout then only allowing 1 over 25" is not really rewarding the fisherman who does the best job of locating and catching big trout.

I'm just curious what the reasoning is behind this. Maybe that is TX limit? The rule definitely would not affect me or my stringer!

Yeah Mako....it's a dumb TX law... 1 trout over 25" per person per day. we had to throw the 1 fish over 25" rule on it since there is no way to tell who caught the 2nd biggun. Also 1 man teams are allowed, so we needed a way to keep it fair for them.
