Dodge Ram 1500

I drove a 2014 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 L hemi for about 18 months. I loved it! I never thought that I would like a Dodge but since my company gave me that truck I will now consider Dodge anytime I buy a truck.

It had plenty of power. It pulled my boat with ease much better than my 5.3 L GMC does. It also got great fuel mileage, around 18-20 mpg on the highway. It was very roomy inside. It did have a bit of a rough ride but that was because I had some heavy duty tires on it that called for 55 psi.

I really would recommend the 1500 Dodge with the 5.7 Hemi to anyone looking for a reliable truck with plenty of power.

However, stay away from the small V8 they offer. I think it's a 4.8 or something like that. That thing is turd. I pulled my boat with it once and was worried I wasn't going to make it over the bridge in lake Charles!
