Default Power Pole: 8' Pro Series II or 10' Blade

I am running a 22' Skeeter center console and am considering an 8' Pro Series II Power Pole or the 10' Blade Power Pole. Difference in price is about $400. Is the extra 2' worth the $400?

Yes. I owned an 8 footer on a bay boat for 1 fishing trip. Immediately ordered the 10 footer afterwards.
