Let's not forget that even California, the most liberal state in the country, voted Against same sex marriage by the people of the state. Only to be overturned by the courts. So apparently it doesn't matter what the majority of the country thinks either. I don't like where things are headed.

It is up to the courts which upheld the constitution that states we were all created equal. All men and women are equal blacks,, whites, Hispanics, heteros, gays, etc. in order to be " equal" everyone should be able to do the same things as everyone else. That includes voting, marriage, and even freedom to practice their religion
