Default Salty Cajun Tournament

I just wanted to post a few pictures to say thank you to all of you that fought hard to salvage the tournament all all those that worked to put it on.

Today was not about me... It was all about my kids. This was the first time having both kids in the boat with me and I have to say it wasnt easy but it was very rewarding. I think i only wet my own line about 8-10 times... Haha

We had a very tough day trying to stay out of the wind and locating fish in the small boat. We only boated 3 trout but the kids got lots of practice when we located the banana fish... Haha

This was my 6 year old son's first real trip fishing and he managed to catch our biggest of the day for his very first trout!!

19" long and 2.16 lbs was enough to get him 2nd place in the youth division.

At the end of the day my daughter won a 45 qt Pelican ice chest door prize that was donated by FCJ Boats. They also cooked hot dogs and sausage for us.

We had a great time and I cant wait for next year!

The smiles says it all. Looks like your kids had a great time and made some memories. Now you better start building a trophy case.

Your daughter was pumped. She was ready to carry that big Pelican ice chest by herself. Glad to have you guys with us.

That little boy was amped up when he made it to the scales! I was sure glad to weigh him in!

I think I heard "It's a 19 incher" a few times from him! LOL
