Default Trolling Battery Maintenance

Just got a new trolling battery for my jon boat.

how do you guys care for your batteries?

I typically charge it when i get back home from a trip and then the night before a trip i hook up the charger just to make sure it's ready in the morning.

don't use maintainers....is it worth it to do that? if so can you recommend one that you use?

What you are now doing is just fine, just takes a little extra work.

Your doing fine. I did the same for years. Got an on board charger this yr. Totally worth it. But still does the same it just doesn't over charge once it goes full it goes to trickle
