the last few years the trout have been showing up late September according to my journals. This time has been hit and miss inside the bay.

What all do you record in your journal? I just started one and i keep adding more columns.

There's so many things you can record but I keep it simple.

Record the number of fish caught, where I caught them, and water temp.

Every now again I throw some weather conditions, tides, moon and stuff
