Default spec rigs or lil spec killers

Does anybody still use spec rigs anymore?Caught my biggest trout on them a good while back.what about lil speck killers?I use them every once in a while under lights and the birds.

i forgot i had one in my tackle bag today, would have tore them up the way they were biting today, no doubt would have had some doubles

there were biting really strange, more like a bass on a slow day where they just pick it up and swim

not really attacking it

I agree the bite was strange this weekend, no really hard it. Just a tight line and pull back.

Put on for a kid last year who was kept loosing everything else left and right. Next 2 cast specs. One a double. Convinced everyone else. Had a few from years back. Ended up using all that day. Wife will never use anything else now.

I use them alot fishing at elmer's island by grand isle. When they are on the beach you can not beat them. You catch a lot of small white trout on them but the specks love them also. It beats changing out baits every few fish. When they are on a feeding frenzy there you can throw just about anythng though.

We tore the Flounder up on the double speck rigs right after the first good cold front.
It was the only thing we could find that they bit on.
We dragged them real slow over a mud flat and caught one on almost every cast.
