Default So, what happens now?

I ordered some stuff from Tackle Warehouse that was scheduled for delivery on the 23rd (day before yesterday). About 5:00 on Wednesday afternoon I checked tracking because the package had not been delivered. Tracking said it was delivered at 3:49 pm to my garage. UPS says they delivered it, yet, I don't have my $233 package. I called them, the lady took my info and said they'd be in touch with me...along with Tackle Warehouse. Never had this happen before, but, if you have...I'd like to know how you handled it and the result.

TIA

Check with your neighbors. Usually it's just at the wrong house and your neighbor has it. If they don't usually the company will just resend everything with no hassle at all. If they don't I would not do business with them anymore. It's actually not a hard thing to deal with. Now if that was everyone's Christmas presents then your in a bind.

I have heard that packages are being stolen from homes. Happened to a friend of my wife and they were told that the reports of stolen packages in the lafayette area has increased lately. If you don't have security cameras I'm not sure how you could prove it.

A few years ago, I saw the UPS truck stop out on the street. The driver delivered a package that I was expecting. It was the right size so I opened it to find some computer stuff... not my order.

I then looked at the label and it was for my neighbor. When I walked over to their house.... MY package was sitting by their door.

I would first check the neighbors. Then go look around for somewhere he may have hid it to prevent it getting stolen

yes this was in the paper just last week near me, a fedex driver called 911 to report there was a car following him as he delivered packages and they would grab the packages he left as he went down the street.

he said they were about 10 houses behind him staying far enough back they thought not to be seen but he saw what they were doing and the cops found a bunch of packages in their car and got a search warrant and at their house they found a whole lot more and their computer showed they were reselling it with online ads for craigs list and ebay so they were making a business out of stealing and reselling what things they stole.

its the latest rage for crooks to steal stuff and its happening all over the place https://www.google.com/search?q=thie...Address&ie=&oe=

Well, my son found the package near the front door behind a shrub. That would'a been the last place I would have looked. Had he not been chipping golf balls in the front yard...he would'a never seen it. Game on now.

Glad you found the package.

Also, if you paid with a credit card..... you could probably get your money back by contacting them.

I got an email from PayPal this morning saying that, once they confirm that the package was shipped, it will be covered by the PayPal Protection Plan. So, I had to notify them that it had been found.

PayPal Rocks!!!

Last week they left 2 of our packages in the BBQ pit bc it was raining. (Which is awesome) but they didnt leave a note. So 3 days later i track it and it showed delivered. Took forever to figure out where it was. Bc the driver for USPS was a temp.
