New boat purchase

I have the Tracker 175 Fx with a 60hp and yes it's a cheaper boat but works well for the money I had available. I've ridden across toledo and the ship channel and it's definitely not as bad as a flat bottom. The only thing I would say from experience is DO NOT GET CARPET if you are going to fish saltwater. The new ones have the vinyl so it may not be that big of an issue. Also, after just a few trips in saltwater, even after rinsing I notice more rust on the trailer. Aluminum would be optimal.
