The salvania is not that bad yet but there is another type of grass that grows in mats that keep you from moving around the whole lake,but its very fishable now,the road doesn't get too bad but the launch is at the bottom of the hill so any amount of rain shuts the lake down.

What side of the hill is the "launch" is it really a launch? I'd love to put my boat in there.

right side of the hill,no concrete,people with 4x4's just back in the mud and launch,I have a boat there on the bank from duck season so I just put a trolling motor on and go

Is this on the power line? I really don't understand where to launch. I'll probably just try Indian because i know it, and only go to the other lake if the salvinia has choked my spots.

On the pipeline,with the rain coming it will be 2 weeks before anyone can get down there

Thanks. Will this rain affect the Indian road? I surely don't want to waste a drive down or do damage to it.

You can call ... 337-363-1830. If it rains too much, they'll close the road and no fishing.
