Who uses a boat cover regulary and what brand works best?
Has anyone had any good luck with their boat cover, and if so, can you give me some advise for my next purchase? I need it for regular use, and also for towing. Thanks |

My boat stays parked in the sun... so I have to keep her covered and a good coat of wax on her at all times.
latravcha... I like the ttop covers, but do not have a ttop on my boat. Have you ever trailered your boat with the cover on it? I travel a lot. Thanks for the advice. |

Personally I dont like to trailer with a cover. Did it once with a bass boat I had when I got where I was going the fiberglass was scuffed up from the cover rubbing. |

I use a carver custom boat cover. they are designed for your specific hull. cover comes with a $500 price tag, but in my opinion is worth it. had mine a couple years now; it stays in the sun and there are no signs of tearing or sagging. still works as well as the first time I put it on my boat. easy to get on and off. takes me a little more than 5 minutes by myself.

Well. Those damn cats got to my cover and ripped it to shreds. I had to go to Colorado (where those dope smokers hang out) for a week and came back to a Hugh hole in my cover. When I went to look at it, you could see the claw marks going up the cover where they tried to climb up it.
I hope they like antifreeze:-) |
