I have gotten past the 2 hour break in period and cant believe how stable this boat is. It does not lean with 3 people standing on the same side. The room in the boat is also one of the first things I noticed. With the Blazer we always felt like we did not have room to move. The beam on the Robalo makes all the difference in the world. Have not had a chance to see what it rides like in rough water but did do 5 circles and cut through the middle and it was not the pounding action I'm used to.
Yamaha's break in period called for 1 hour at idle the one hour under 2,000 RPM. Then the next 8 hours to not hold at max RPM for more than 5 seconds. I got it up to max RPM and saw 48mph and she was still climbing when I pulled back. This boat will not be anywhere as fast as the Blazer but what I give up in speed will be made up for with the comfort of the boat.
