New Orleans has illegally seized citizens guns before (in spite of carry permits), and with enough wealthy, popular liberals in the city proclaiming their support for such tyranny, they may be emboldened to do it again.

In the aftermath of Katrina, a carry permit was vain hope against illegal gun seizures in the Peoples' Republik of New Orleans.

But they might give you your rusty gun back a few years later ...
